Hi

May 1st is Keshab’s birthday- Sue and I sang to him via Skype…it can only improve from there!

Keshab will rest one day…he has worked so hard, So very well done!

We will work from Sunday with the Shechen team(Karuna-Shechen), and will bring donated food and our vehicle and staff and distribute in a secure format. It is now too dangerous to work alone…and our funding is not keeping up with our spending rate! Our sponsor friends in Germany agree with this also…so all is good. New phase, more safe, more organised…but we are so pleased with the way we have worked as a compassionate team, while a more sustainable plan was being developed.

We have talked with Pradip from the Joy Foundation . He has asked to urgently go to Sankhu with soap and women’s hygiene items. Keshab will source and deliver with the Shechen team, first priority. The Nepal Government has “seized” all incoming HGO funds. We are not affected by that, as we have private arrangements…so donations to us will remain under our control.

Big thank you to Katie…a woman of many talents indeed!

Big thank you to all those who continue to trust and support us…working as one, for the benefit of many….lew&Sue
