3-in 1 education poster developed by NAHOH & HHH for use at ear camps and education programs

In 2015, we were fortunate to be able to employ Saraswoti Dangol (Keshab’s wife) to develop our hearing education program.

Sarawoti is an experienced teacher, and has also done ear care and audiometry training with HH&H. She now works with Keshab on the Hearing camps, expanding the capacity for hearing assessments while Keshab focuses on primary ear care and device fitting.

In addition to this she is developing resources for teachers, parents and children on the need for ear care and understanding hearing loss and its impact on speech development. She has started a program of school visits, talking to teachers and students on hearing care.

We were also fortunate to engage Kamala Mandal from the Community Family Welfare Association in Janakpur, Dhanusha district to support the Health & Hearing programs in the region and to provide School Orientation programs, educating children and teachers about ear care and hearing.
