Please find below the minutes of HearingNEPAL Program’s 2014 AGM, held on May 11, 2014.
Please take the time to read through these, as some very significant changes were agreed upon.
The most significant is the change of name for our organisation.
Special Resolution 1 – Change of Name was adopted (see below) and the necessary notification processes are underway to have this change implemented.
Resolved: Motion 1 That the name of the association be changed from “HearingNEPAL Program Inc.” to “Himalayan Health and Hearing” and that the secretary be authorised to do all things and make all notifications necessary to effect the name change.
Resolved: Motion 2:
That the Rules of HearingNEPAL Program Inc be amended to reflect the change of name from “HearingNEPAL Program Inc.” to “Himalayan Health and Hearing”.
Another significant change is the introduction of an annual membership fee of $15 for new members. Existing members – the foundation – may volunteer to pay it if they choose, but this is not required. Payment can be made through the MEMBERSHIP page.
