It is good that we are working so well with the Shechen medical team in Nepal…they come with us and we go with them…so much more benefit when collaborating with like NGO’s
This is a similar model to that which we compassionately wish for the people of Ladakh, (Northern India) working with the Tibetan medicine dispensing Ladakh Nuns Association. www.ladakhnunsassociation.org
Using trained nuns, monks and lay persons (this was our 5th visit and a watershed in terms of choosing a sustainable direction for the benefit of the locals BY the locals!) … all young enough to embrace this century as their own, and accordingly take charge for themselves. They have all the equipment and we have promised them 100 hearing aids a year, and they currently have 113 in stock!
